Latino Network’s Youth Empowerment and Violence Prevention Division fosters the hope that we need as a community to overcome these disparities. Our programs leverage prevention strategies and community-based services to reclaim the lives of vulnerable at-risk youth, and to ensure whole families achieve stability, build and experience joy and thrive.
LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AND VIOLENCE PREVENTION PROGRAMS
Our culturally specific, strengths-based programs guide participating youth and their families to overcome the odds and achieve positive goals for education, employment, health, and more. Through our community centered programs, Latino Network is committed to unleashing potential, strengthening community, and helping families to heal from violence and trauma.
Our mission is to reduce youth and community violence by redressing the root causes of violence such as poverty, racism, discrimination, etc.
We currently offer a variety of different programs, including outreach, pro-social activities, mentorship, case coordination, family navigation and care management in partnership with our local and regional governments in the greater Portland metro area.
