PARENTS HELPING PARENTS
Parents Helping Parents
Parents Helping Parents is a support group for parents where they learn and discuss topics around the community, safety, parenting, and wellness.
The parent group has continued to meet virtually once a week despite the pandemic where they discuss topics including mental health during the pandemic, COVID information and resources, drugs and alcohol use, and prevention.
The program has also begun to offer weekly study groups to help parents study and prepare for the knowledge driving test at DMV. Effective 2021, the Drivers Licenses for All law has allowed many parents the opportunity and eligibility to obtain a driver’s license in the state of Oregon. The Parents Helping Parents program strives to educate parents by helping them understand driving laws and to help them be successful and provide safety to their families.
