PPS MIDDLE SCHOOL LATINX AFFINITY GROUPS

Latino Network is leading an effort to create, coordinate, and implement Latinx affinity clubs at middle schools within the Portland Public School district. The program aims to promote consciousness raising, leadership skills, self and group respect, and cultural preservation in order to empower students. We strive to promote pride, positive cultural identity, and leadership among Latinx youth and make a lasting impact on young people’s experience in school and in their community.
