Juan joined Latino Network in 2018 as the Director of Development and Communications. Along with overseeing day-to-day development tasks, Juan also helps coordinate our annual gala, Noche Bella. Before joining the team, Juan served for nearly three years as the Program Director for the American Leadership Forum of Oregon (ALF Oregon), working side by side with other leaders to make a positive impact in our communities across the state. He recently served as President of the City Club of Portland where he served on the Board of Governors for more than six years.

Juan has been active through his leadership and support of local, regional and national non-profits and social justice campaigns for nearly two decades. In 2015, Juan served as the Vice President of New Business Development for Metropolitan Group, a creative and strategic communications agency committed to working for social change. Prior to joining the team at Metropolitan Group, Juan was the Development Director for over eight years at Basic Rights Oregon.

Juan was born and raised in Oregon and is a graduate of the University of Oregon.
